They call this "the Stalker Song", and with good reason, as apparently the singer here is singing to his lady that he'll watch everything, and will be watching her, every breath she takes and all that.
Aside from the eye candy and kilig value of Robert Downey, Jr. singing in this little ditty, Sammy, my take-away point for this exercise is that you should really consider having a man who pays attention to all the little details you do...and remembers them. Someone who knows you enough to be able to anticipate what you need, and what's going to happen.
I like the clever metaphors in this song, but really, maybe I just want you to realize that there is a lot of truth in it. You want to be with someone who is mindful of your needs and will be there for you...and perhaps know you almost better than you know yourself.
(And if you love him back, you'll probably be the same way.)
When you pay someone attention, and give him (or her) your time while doing so, that makes them feel special as well. And then everybody's happy.
