I was over at the mall for lunch yesterday, and I saw this sign...
Clever clever... This wouldn't have stopped me, though.
(How can books ever be dangerous...physically?)

Dear Samantha,
Listening to this song sung as a duet again after a very long time gave me something to think about...
Do you know how some people sing songs, or listen to songs because they have a hard time saying what they really want to say? I feel that way sometimes... sometimes, it takes me a videoke session and some beer (about 2 bottles) in order to...let it all out. :-)
Call it chicken, or whatever you might like, but sometimes I don't have the balls at all to do some things I say I'll do. I like to believe that I am someone who can articulate her thoughts and feelings whenever necessary, but...when it comes to expressing things that are emotionally-laden, I clam up.
(Like everyone else, I find it necessary to engage in a bit of self-preservation from rejection.)
Anyhow, the moral of this recent post Sammy, is that,
1. Love is a gamble, and you have to take chances
2. It takes a lot of courage
3. It's going to be as scary as hell.
:-)
Mommy's going to be on self-preservation mode for now, though...
(I sure do wish I'd meet you already, and so I won't have to worry so much about this "taking chances" thing.)
